    Nowadays people are more likely to spend their spare moments surfing on the Internet.The Internet brings us all kinds of things, including advertisements. However, not alladvertisements on the Internet are popular. What do you think of net advertisements?
    Two types of advertising have begun to increase on the Intemet, in-your-faceadvertisements and site advertisements. The former appear unrequested (such as on'the top ofInfoSeek and Yahoo) and site advertisements are designed either to provide productinformation or to promote the company.
    One benefig of advertising on the net is that consumers can really shop while sittingcomfortably in their own home. They cart read any product instructions whatever they like.Meanwhile, no salesman disturbs. Benefits to the company are reduced costs, as well asgetting more information about which product the customers like to click on. The cost ofadvertising in a print magazine for one year would be almost the same as the cost ofadvertising on the Internet for six months.
    What will happen with advesing on the Intemet will be interesting to watch in the nearfuture. However, proper use of the medium is essential to keep the attention of viewers andencourage peat visits.
